- Discuss the final two years of World War II in Europe from right after Stalingrad and the Italian campaign to the defeat of Germany. Include the major campaigns on the Russian front, Italian front and Western front. What were the strategies of the Allies to achieve victory? Why did the war end as it did? What was the aftermath of the European war?
- Discuss the final two years of World War II in the Pacific from right after Midway and Guadalcanal to the defeat of Japan. Include the major campaigns in the Pacific. What were the strategies of Nimitz and MacArthur? Why did the war end as it did? What was the aftermath of the Pacific war?
