Who were the San-Culottes and what did they desire? How/why did they ally themselves with the Mountain?
Discuss the spread of the war in Europe in 1792/1793.
Study the trial of Louis XVI. Know why he was executed. What were the roles of the Jacobins and the Girondins. Know who prevailed and the consequences of this.
